Butcher blocks, cutting boards, and islands are finished in Odie's Oil only: food-safe, hand-rubbed, and cured a full two weeks before shipping. Boards are cut thick enough to flatten and refinish for decades.

The island is the one piece we never sell off a spec sheet. Butcher block or slab top, open shelving, drawers, or a seating overhang. We size it with you on a call before we cut.

Kitchen cabinets and wood backsplash are custom commissions only: we measure, design, and build them for your kitchen rather than offering a catalog size.

Most small kitchen pieces begin as the offcuts of larger commissions: slab offcuts from a dining table, rail ends from shelving. Good wood never becomes waste if a woodsmith can help it.

That's the honest answer. Vior Woodworks is a startup, and today every piece in this collection comes off one bench: reclaimed and ethical timber, hand-cut joinery, plant-oil finishes, and a provenance card with the tree's origin written down.
The rolodex is open. As independent woodsmiths join, their names and their trees take their place here beside the founder's, with the same honesty about who made what.
